Terms & Conditions
Components & Aftermarket installations  

1.0. Payment & Order Confirmation

 

1.1. Full upfront payment is required to:

  • Secure any order

  • Allocate stock

  • Procure goods

  • Confirm fitment bookings

 

1.2. No orders, reservations, or bookings will proceed until payment reflects in Tusck Overland’s bank account

1.3. Orders are only confirmed once payment is received in full

 

 

2.0 Custom Orders & Non-Refundable Items

 

2.1. All goods ordered or allocated are:

 

  • Client-specific

  • Vehicle-specific

  • These items are not held as general stock

 

2.3. Once ordered, allocated and confirmed to the Client, all items are:

 

  • Non-cancellable

  • Non-returnable

  • Non-refundable

 

2.4. This includes (but is not limited to):

 

  • Imported products

  • Electrical components

  • Custom-manufactured items

  • These fall under custom procurement in terms of the Consumer Protection Act

3.0. Cancellations & Client Withdrawal:

 

3.1. Once payment is made or an order is confirmed:

  • The order is binding

  • All costs remain payable

 

3.2. If a client cancels or withdraws:

  • Tusck Overland may charge up to 100% cancellation fee

  • All supplier, courier, import, admin, and handling costs apply

  • Goods already ordered remain fully payable

  • Cancellation is only accepted at Tusck Overland’s discretion

 

4.0. Fitment Bookings

 

4.1. Full payment is required to secure a fitment date

4.2. Fitment bookings reserve:

  • Workshop capacity

  • Technician time or sub-contractor time 

  • Allocated parts

 

4.3.Once booked:

  • Dates cannot be cancelled or postponed if workshop capacity is committed

  • Failure to present the vehicle equals cancellation

  • Cancellation fees may apply up to full booking value

 

5.0 Collection & Storage

 

5.1. Once Client is notified about collection, goods or vehicles must be collected within 24 hours

5.2. If not collected within 24 Hours:

  • Storage fees may apply

  • Goods may be deemed abandoned

 

5.3. Tusck Overland reserves the right to:

  • Resell goods to recover costs after 15 days left uncollected at our premises. 

  • Recover any outstanding balance from the client

 

6.0 Pricing & Quotations

 

6.1. Prices are subject to change due to:

  • Supplier increases

  • Exchange rate fluctuations

  • Import and shipping costs

  • Availability or discontinuation

 

6.2. Final pricing is confirmed at:

  • Procurement OR

  • Completion of work

 

7.0 Labour & Fitment Conditions

 

7.1. Labour quotes are based on:

  • Standard vehicle condition

  • Manufacturer-intended fitment

  • That vehicle has the correct other components to complete the installation i.e.: Load bars or roof racks for Roof Top Tents.  

 

7.2. Additional labour may be charged for:

  • Prior modifications

  • Corrosion or damage

  • Non-standard components

  • Seized or broken parts

  • Increased fitment complexity due to other installations that prevents the installation to be completed 

 

7.3. All additional labour required remains payable

7.4. The Client confirms that their vehicle is mechanically sound, structurally fit, and suitable for installation

7.5. The Client must disclose any prior modifications, damages that may affect the safety of the installation or fitment. 

7.6. The Client remains responsible for the compliance of the vehicle warranty and insurance requirements. 

 

8.0. Client-Supplied Information

 

8.1. Clients must provide accurate:

  • Vehicle year, make, model

  • VIN

  • Photos

  • Non-SA spec disclosure

 

8.2. Tusck Overland is not liable for:

  • Errors due to incorrect information

  • Fitment issues arising from incorrect details

  • Incorrect information voids all warranties and returns

9.0. Compatibility & Client Instruction

 

9.1. In the event where Tusck Overland advises a product is incompatible but the client proceeds:

The client assumes full responsibility

The item remains non-returnable and non-refundable

 

9.2. If a client proceeds against technical advice:

  • Tusck Overland is not liable for:

  • Ride quality

  • Vehicle stance

  • Handling

  • Performance

  • Component wear or failure

 

9.3. Vehicles with Prior Damage or Modifications

 

9.3.1. Vehicles with:

  • Accident history

  • Structural repairs

  • Chassis deviation

  • Aftermarket modifications

 

May result in:

 

  • Fitment variation

  • Alignment differences

  • Additional labour

 

9.3.2. Tusck Overland is not liable for cosmetic or alignment imperfections

 

9.4. The Client is responsible for ensuring compliance with vehicle warranty & insurance requirements. 

9.5. The Client acknowledges that:

  • Rooftop tents and accessories altered the vehicle center of gravity, which may affect handling and fuel consumption.

  • Off-road travel in Overlanding inherently carries risks

  • Proper use, securing and maintenance of rooftop tents, and equipment is the sole responsibility of the client. 

10. Workmanship Warranty

 

10.1. 12-month workmanship warranty applies only to Tusck Overland installations

10.2.  Warranty is void if:

 

  • Third-party work is performed

  • Products are tampered with or removed

  • Incorrect vehicle info is provided

  • Lack of maintenance or inspection

  • Misuse, overloading, or extreme off-road use

  • Client insist on fitment, if Tusck Overland or its Agents advised on incorrect accessories or faults. 

 

10.3. Suspension Systems:

 

  • 500 km post-fitment inspection is required (additional cost)

  • Failure to complete inspection voids warranty

 

10.4. Adjustable suspension:

  • Setup and tuning are the client’s responsibility

  • No warranty on incorrect setup

 

10.5. Electrical Components items are:

  • Supplied warranty once installed, but is subjected to:

 

Client responsible on:

  • Battery condition

  • Load management

  • System compatibility

  • Fuse protection

 

Tusck Overland is not liable for:

  • Electrical overloading faults

  • Battery drain

  • System damage due overload or improper usage.  

 

10.6. Supplier & Third-Party Interaction warranty & liability void by Tusck Overland: 

 

  • If a client deals directly with a supplier or manufacturer

  • Original order remains binding and payable

 

11. Refunds

 

11.1. Approved refunds (if any) will be:

  • Less all bank, merchant, admin, and handling fees

  • Refunds are limited to net amount received

12. Delivery & Risk

 

12.1. Delivery times are estimates only

12.2. Tusck Overland is not liable for:

  • Supplier or Manufacturer delays

  • Courier delays

  • Import issues

 

12.3. Risk transfers to the client upon collection or release

13. Liability & Indemnity

 

13.1. Tusck Overland is a:

  • Reseller & Fitment center

 

13.2. Tusck Overland is Not liable for:

  • Manufacturer defects

  • Product failure

  • Consequential loss

 

13.3. Clients indemnify Tusck Overland, its Directors and employees and service sub-contractors against:

  • Misuse

  • Securing of equipment including that off accessories and roof top tents. 

  • Off-road damage

  • Poor maintenance by Client 

  • Third-party interference or claims 

  • Legal Compliance

  • Vehicle compliance

  • Roadworthiness

  • Insurance requirements

  • Damage or theft of vehicle whilst at Tusck Overland’s premises or that of a sub-contractor. 

  • Roll overs, 

 

 

13.4. Tusck Overland is not liable for:

  • Fines, 

  • Licensing issues, 

  • Insurance rejection, 

  • Roadworthiness, 

 

13.5. All work carried out on the vehicle is done so at Clients own risk. 

 

 

14. Force Majeure

 

14.1. Tusck Overland is not liable for delays or failures caused by:

  • Natural disasters

  • Strikes

  • Supply chain disruptions

  • Government restrictions

15. Communication & Agreement

 

15.1. Quotes, invoices, email, and WhatsApp communications are Legally binding. 

15.2. Payment, booking, or vehicle delivery constitutes, full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions

 

 

16. Marketing Consent

 

16.1. Clients consent to photos of installations being used for marketing. Such consent is done via written agreement, video recording or WhatsApp agreement. 

17. Amendments

 

17.1. Tusck Overland reserves the right to amend these terms without prior agreement from the Client
