Refunds & Exchanges for products:​

If you are dissatisfied with an item purchased from Tusck Overland you may return it for a refund, replacement or exchange provided that the conditions of our Refund & Exchange policy have been satisfied.

We will exchange or refund a product provided that:

the product was sold by our website;

it is within 30 days of the original purchase date;

it is in its original packaging or condition, i.e the security seal or shrink wrap is intact (if applicable), product is unworn and unused and the online store's price ticket is attached.

For hygiene reasons, underwear including swimwear may not be returned or exchange.

All refunds are processed strictly in accordance with the original sales tender type and only after confirmation that the funds were received in our bank account.

Return by the Client to our Tusck Overland store together with your invoice.

Tusck Overland will refund a purchase for the exact amount paid, and no third party payments will be made. Strictly all refunds will be made by the individual who purchased the items.

a Refund can take up to 14 (fourteen) business days to reflect in your account, and EFT refunds are subject to verification of your banking details.

Any roof top tents or items that are visibly used, scratch or damaged, have been installed with visible marks, will not be refunded.

Any item that was made to order, will be charged a 30% handling fee.

It remains the Clients responsibility to ensure the correct safety operation and qualification of products bought from Tusck Overland and mounted to its vehicles are adhered to vehicle manufacturers requirements and limits.

We've got you covered! At Tusck Overland, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. That's why we offer a hassle-free refund, replacement, or exchange policy. As long as you meet the conditions outlined in our policy, we'll take care of the rest. Plus, all of our products come with a 12-month warranty, so you can shop with confidence knowing that we stand behind our products.

All Tusck Overland products sold, carries a standard warranty of 12 (TWELVE) months from date of purchase, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

All Tusck Overland products returned for warranty, must include a copy of the invoice for the original sale. Warranty approvals will not be granted if an original invoice or copy of an invoice is not provided.

Subject to the limitations and exclusions described in this warranty, Tusck Overland will remedy defects in materials or workmanship by repairing or replacing, at its option, a defective product without charge for parts or labor.

In addition, Tusck Overland may elect, at its option, not to repair or replace a defective product but rather issue to a purchaser a refund equal to the purchase price paid for the product or a credit to be used toward the purchase of a new Tusck Overland product.

This warranty excludes problems caused by normal wear and tear including, but not limited to, scratches, dents, tears, or aesthetic oxidation of surfaces, natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use, commercial use, accidents, or unlawful operations.

No warranty is given for defects resulting from conditions beyond TUSCK OVERLAND'S control including, but not limited to, modifications or repairs not performed or authorized by TUSCK OVERLAND, misuse, overloading, or failure to assemble, install or use the product in accordance with TUSCK OVERLAND'S written instructions or guidelines included with the product or made available to the purchaser originally.

Tent Warranty Exclusions - Please note that our warranty does not cover certain issues including but not limited to: UV damage to fabric, plastics, shell or gel coat, normal wear and tear, and cosmetic blemishes resulting from regular use. Additionally, damage caused by misuse, accidents, or acts of nature such as storms and high winds is not covered. Aesthetic changes that do not impact the function of the rooftop tent are also excluded, as well as any unauthorized repairs or modifications made by the customer.

This warranty terminates when the original retail purchaser sells or otherwise transfers the product to any other person.

Self drive Tours & Tusck Club Membership
​
Cancelations:
-
Cancellations must be done in writing by the paying entity/individual for the trip and submitted to Tusck Overland via email to: info@tusckoverland.com

Cancellation of a trip between 60 and 31 days before departure - a costs 50% of the travel amount will be levied.
-
Cancellation of the trip within 31 days before departure - a cost of100% of the travel amount will be levied.

Bookings can be transferred to another date, however, above conditions of points 1to 3 will apply.

Cancellation, decline or refusal of any individuals Visa, Country non-compliance, such as motor vehicle Liscence, validity of passports, vaccinations, travel insurance, required cross border documents, death, disability or refusal of travel for any reason, will form part for reason of cancelation, and cancelation fees stipulated in the above cancelation conditions will apply to such incidents.

No refunds or re bookings are given for unused services, no-shows or early departures for any reason whatsoever.

All bookings must be paid in full prior to any departure, and failure to pay within the stipulated time, may result in cancellation and removal of a group without refund by Tusck Overland.

Cancelation of monthly memberships are non refundable, and any amounts paid will not be back dated or used for any service, future booking or product.

All Tusck Overland bookings are booked and arranged as non guided self drive tours with fellow club members.

We connect you with fellow overlander's in which you will travel within a group as a Club convoy.

All our tours are non-guided self drive tours. Should you wish to make use of our accredited guides, this is quoted separately, with separate tours. ​​

Clients responsibility:

Having a valid driver's license and required cross border documents
-
Driving safely and in compliance with traffic laws.

Carry valid passports, visas, travel insurance and required vaccinations for its complete Pax.

Respect other fellow traveler's
-
Respect wildlife, park rules, environment guidelines.
-
Tusck Overland is not liable for fines, penalties, legal issues arising from client negligence nor assume responsibilty for any traveler.

Rental vehicles arranged by Tusck Overland, are done so in accordance to separate rental terms and conditions.

Any damages, breakdowns, or accidents are the responsibility of the Client and its Pax, unless otherwise specified.

Clients must exercise caution around wild animals and follow all safety instructions.
-
Feeding or disturbing wildlife is strictly prohibited.
-
Littering or damaging natural resources will result in removing the client from the tour without refund.

Liability:

Participation in all Tusck Overland Club tours is at the Clients own risk.

Tusck Overland is not liable for:

Loss, theft, or damage to personal property​

Delays, cancelation, or changes due to weather, border closures, strikes, or other events beyond our control.

Accidents, injuries, or death.
3. Tusck Overland reserves the right to alter routes, campsites or activities due to unforeseen circumstances.
4. Clients are responsible for adhering to all customs, immigration and border requirements.
5. Tusck Overland cannot be held responsible for entry denials or issues due to incomplete documentation.
6. Tusck Overland reserves the right on Force Majeure. Tusck Overland is not liable to perform due to events beyond our control such as, natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, etc.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.

Any disputes shall be settled in the courts of Johannesburg, South Africa.

Tusck Club Membership:
​

When you participate in the tuck Overland club, you either join the monthly price in the standard option for two people, or the Premium option with its price for a single person.

All memberships are for a period of 12 months.

Any new membership - the Client reserve the right to a 7 day cooling off period.

Automatic renewal is not done. Should you wish to renew your membership, it must be done as new application.

All Tusck Overland prices are inclusive of VAT.

The payment & debit orders are done so in accordance to PASA complaint Financial service provider, acting as a third party agent for Tusck Overland. The details given by the Client, are done in accordance to their terms and condition.
